Poker pro Phil Ivey featured in ‘Best-in-Class’ commercial
The 10-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner and the youngest player to attain nine WSOP bracelets has recently appeared in a Chrysler TV ad together with other Americans like NBA assistant coach Becky Hammon and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian – both of which, like Ivey, have created their own success.
The first commercial showing the poker superstar is called “The Kings and Queens of America.” Well, in the poker world, he is generally considered as the king and the best all-around poker player in the planet.
But now, Ivey stars in his own Chrysler 300 commercial. The limelight is on for this poker superstar.
In the 30-second TV ad, dubbed as “Best in Class”, Ivey is shown driving the new refreshed 300 sedan in the City of Las Vegas, the gambling capital of the world, where poker games or tournaments are very prevalent.
The commercial is a part of Chrysler’s new “Drive Proud” campaign, which “celebrates the Americans who have earned their success, from entrepreneurs, small-business owners to self-employed contractors, designers and artists,” according to a press release.
Obviously, with Ivey’s earnings and achievements in poker, he really deserves to star in that latest campaign.
Undoubtedly, Ivey is on top of the poker industry so it’s no wonder that Chrysler has decided to feature him in their Drive Proud campaign. Moreover, the pro poker’s appearance in the said commercial is great news for his image and for his supportive fans also.
To all his supporters, watch out for Ivey’s more campaigns in the succeeding year. Who knows? This may be the start of his career as a commercial star.
